Description

At present, cementing rubber plugs are widely used in normal production operations. In drilling operations, after the technical casing is run, cementing operations are carried out. At this time, rubber plugs are used to replace the cement pumped into the casing with mud into the annulus of the casing.

In deep wells and special wells, it can be combined with casing float shoes to improve the safety of cementing operations. During the process of running casing, achieving unidirectional flow of drilling fluid in the annulus can prevent cement slurry backflow during the cementing process and achieve pressure relief and waiting for setting after cementing collision, which helps to improve the bonding quality between the cement sheath and casing; At the same time, by injecting drilling fluid into the casing string to adjust its buoyancy, the suspended weight of the casing meets the design requirements for casing operation.

Application

Before injecting cement, first insert the lower rubber plug, pump and scrape to clean the wellbore wall, which is used to separate the lower cement slurry from the mud and prevent contamination of the cement slurry. After collision, due to the hollow nature of the lower rubber plug, the pressure is suppressed by 2-4 MPa, which breaks the rubber film and provides a channel for the cement slurry to establish circulation. Then, inject cement, insert the upper rubber plug, pump and press, and the cementing is completed.
