Description

In the field of petroleum, hydraulic fracturing refers to a method of using hydraulic action to form fractures in oil and gas reservoirs during oil or gas production, also known as hydraulic fracturing. 

After a certain stage of oil well production, the production capacity and permeability decrease. In order to enhance oil drainage capacity and increase oil well production, people have invented fracturing technology. The methods of fracturing can be divided into two categories: hydraulic fracturing and high-energy gas fracturing. Hydraulic fracturing relies on a high-pressure pump truck set on the ground to inject fluid into the well at high speed, and with the help of the high pressure trapped at the bottom of the well, it causes the rock in the oil reservoir to fracture and produce cracks. To prevent cracks from self closing, the injected liquid into the formation will mix with sand with a higher density. After the sand enters the crack, it will permanently remain in the crack, supporting the crack in an open state and improving the oil flow environment for a long time.

The current hydraulic fracturing technology is very mature and has a significant effect on increasing oil well production, making it the preferred and commonly used technology. Especially for oil reservoirs with small oil flow channels, which have low permeability, the production increase effect is particularly prominent.

The main hydraulic fracturing unit of RockySea is the fracturing water injection unit and fracturing sand mixing unit.

Type 1 : Fracturing water injection unit

The fracturing water injection unit of RockySea is an important equipment to inject high pressure liquid into formation to increase the yield of oil and gas wells. The operating medium of this device includes clean water, mud, surfactants, or high viscosity liquids. This device can perform sand fracturing operations on formations, including water injection, well washing, sandblasting, perforation, and unblocking. It can also be used for pressure testing of drill rods, oil pipes, casings, and surface manifolds.Besides, ourwater injection unit can deal with both single truck and multi truck operation.

Type 2 : Fracturing sand mixing unit

The fracturing sand mixing unit of RockySea integrates sand mixing and pumping devices into the moblie equipment, used to perform small displacement, high pressure pumping operations with low sand ratio sand carrying fluids.

The power of the equipment is provided by a diesel engine, and the power of accessories such as centrifugal pumps, mixers, and screw sand conveyors is provided by a generator set or external power supply. The sand hopper at the rear of the equipment supplies sand to the mixing tank through two sets of horizontally arranged spiral sand conveyors, while also supplying liquid to the mixing tank through a suction centrifugal pump. The mixed and stirred sand liquid enters the fracturing pump through the suction manifold through the discharge centrifugal pump, and is pressurized by the fracturing pump before being discharged through the high-pressure discharge pipe and injected into the well.
